The Artful Landscape: February 8-12, 2027

Chuck Kimmerle and I are excited to announce our February 8-12, 2027 workshop, The Artful Landscape. We welcome photographers of all experience levels to join us for an immersive photography workshop in Death Valley National Park, devoted equally to color AND black & white expression.

While many workshops focus on simply placing photographers in stunning locations for easy photographs, this experience goes much further. An artful landscape photograph does far more than document beauty - it communicates vision. It reveals the photographer’s imagination, curiosity, and creative intent, transforming place into personal expression. This workshop is dedicated to exploring how to see, interpret, and photograph the landscape with intention, artistry, and depth.
